Yeti Again Project

This is (was) Sasquatch.

Sasquatch started out as a LOC Mini Mag with a 38mm motor mount. It had many a successful flight until one day, someone forgot to put an ejection charge in the motor and............

OUCH!!

After slamming into the ground from around 1500ft, all that was salvageable was the fin can.

It was at this point that a friend suggested that I rebuild it with a a few extra holes,  namely 3 additional 29mm motor mounts.

So Yeti Again, another rocket is born....

First I cut away all of the damaged body tube, then I had a friend drill 29mm holes in the remaining centering rings and cored out the foam that had filled the tube.

Then I stripped off all the paint and started the re-assembly. I poured in more 2 part foam around the new motor tubes, replaced the top centering ring and capped of the 29mm tubes. Here is the new fin can with a J350 sticking out of it
